![]() ![]() The second page is advice more specific to the area. ![]() When planning your camp, allocate three extra feet per tent. They can get pulled out of the ground by a strong wind, otherwise. If the ground is soft from heavy rain, reinforce tent stakes either by weighing them down or by using longer stakes. This will keep people from tripping over them or the ropes at night. Place solar lights near your tent stakes. This will ensure you have something warm and dry if your tent floods. Have a sturdy, waterproof container that holds a spare change of clothes and a blanket. The first page is full of practical advice. I’ve titled the brochure “How to Survive Your Camping Experience.” I wish people would take that name more seriously. Not having to fill out as much paperwork with the police is worth the money. Sure, the postage is a bit of an expense, but I feel having a hardcopy makes them more likely to read it. I put together a guide that everyone receives in the mail once I have their registration info and payment. By noon on setup day the experienced campers are sitting under their dayshades, sipping beer, while the newbies are relocating tents because they didn’t leave enough room for walkways. It’s a far cry from the disheveled masses that show up and simply expect everything to work out with no prior planning. Tent locations might change, but every camper knows where their tent is going in their allotted land. Community areas and kitchens go in the same place year after year, where they’ve found the land suits their setup best. Everyone knows their job when they roll in. There’s some pretty elaborate setups from the people that come back year after year. Grills get unloaded from the backs of trucks. We’ve also got open camping weekends throughout the year and in the height of summer we’re open full-time for general camping. We host events, like dog clubs, music festivals, etc. It’s about 300 acres, most of that shaded by forest and the rest is an open field. My family has owned it for generations now. And, if you want well written nostalgic but more fucked up creepypasta (with a bit of comedy) check out Julius the Dressmaker.( Master Index) ( Source) by fainting–goat Try writing a long horror story in a language you hardly speak and see how it turns out– Krisa did an AMAZING job and it’s better written than most creepypastas anyway.) The Puppeteer also has really good stories, again really evil character and great short form horror. (And i don’t want to hear criticism about ‘bad grammar’, krisantyl hardly spoke English at the time of his first story. He’s absolutely FUCKED (positive) and by far one of the most messed up creeps. Jason is so much more evil than people remember/realize. Jason the toymaker is and- his story and his backstory are really good. Not sure if these are all on the site but THE RAKE IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ, STILL GIVES ME CHILLS. I may make creepypasta smut, but I do truly love the potential and artistry of creepypasta □□□ They have been expanded upon not just through their original stories but from their visuals alone.ĪND there are plenty of new creepypasta characters and stories that are taking that creative spirit of the originals and just running with it! Same with Slender Man, Jeff the Killer, and many of the other most famous CP. But there’s no denying that THIS visual is awesome! Most Creepypasta has been criticized as being poorly written, but for me, its visuals were the BIGGEST strong suit.įor example, Eyeless Jack is not very well written. I love Candle Cove, Ted the Caver and The Expressionless. I would prefer if they made their own world and characters, like Candle Cove.Īnd speaking of Candle Cove, time to list my favorite creepypastas! (人◕ω◕) Things like “Rugrats, but it’s messed up” or “Sonic, but it’s messed up”… There’s not a whole lot of creativity to these. I’m not really a big fan of taking something that is super well known and just making a ‘messed up’ version of it (with the exception of Ben Drowned, Lavender Town and NES Godzilla. I’m not sure if these were official ones, but they were the earliest, and that’s Squidward’s Suicide and Suicidemouse.avi. OOH, I’ll start with the ones that I find to be the worst. ![]()
